Great for 14 GA connection. Wire allows for a flat connection under the cabinet. but that's all. The opening in the box and the size of the strain relief will only fit a single 14/2 wire. So if you want to daisy chain multiple junction boxes, you can't just tie their wires together (i.e. opposite the fridge side). You must plan accordingly. This would require some sort of wiring to another conventional junction box whose power is controlled by a wall switch. Speaking of cables, because that's for a straight wire. The plug in the wall is eliminated, however this kit does not include the cable required to connect the junction box to the first washer. This is an obvious necessity when using this box. Why not turn it on? I found the replacement cable I needed which appears to be only available from a GE subsidiary: Jasco Lighting. A 12 inch cable is $3.99 plus an additional $8 to mail it to me. Luckily I only need one. It's not a complete failure of the product line, but add that issue to the limited color options (only 3000K warm white washers available) and it's a so-so solution for task lighting.
