Previously, they drank exclusively brewed coffee, because they didn’t hope to get such coffee, as they do in some establishments in Italy, from any machine: there was a simple carob Saeco, the taste was bitter and watery, brewing in a Turk / cup was corny tastier. Although, maybe I just couldn't prepare the coffee tablet properly. I didn't know about that then. In short, we received this machine as a gift, and at first we were very upset: the device is expensive, and judging by a number of reviews on the Internet, it makes mediocre coffee. They began to figure it out, poured normal coffee, set the grind, began to play with the modes, bought different syrups. The taste gives a balanced, without bitterness and sourness. We buy coffee. What is the secret of brewing in any machine: if you want a large drink (for example, Americano), you can’t pour all the boiling water through a coffee tablet, in the end it just gives off bitterness. So far I'm making these two recipes: Caffè latte = syrup + 2 espressos in a row through different tablets + whipped milk to the top. Cappuccino = 2 espressos in a row through different tablets + boiling water + frothed milk and / or cream. We have been using the machine for almost a year, we fill it with water from a reverse osmosis filter. During this time, the machine once asked for decalcification. Parents use a regular carbon filter, their car has asked for cleaning several times already. It is worth noting that with the reverse osmosis filter, the scale disappeared in our ordinary kettle as well.
I hope the pictures I included give a clearer picture of my experience.
