Review on 🔊 Beurer Dreamsound SL15: Portable White Noise Machine with 4 Soothing Sounds and Auto Shut-Off Sleep Timer by Misty Myers

After so many people raving about using a sound machine before bed, my husband and I took up the idea and have been using it for several years now. I have two other sound machines and unfortunately this particular model is my least favorite. The only thing I would say in its favor is that it is quite small so it doesn't take up much space if you plan to take it on a trip. There are only 4 sounds in this sound machine and they are white noise, ocean, nature and instrumental lullaby. Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to what sounds they like. I prefer more constant noise like white noise. I've found that other sounds tend to change the noise level and stimulate my brain with those changes, and don't help me fall asleep. You can either listen to the sounds throughout the night or set the timer for 15, 30 or 45 minutes before turning off the car. You can adjust the volume as you like. There is an additional headphone jack if needed. The sound machine runs on batteries only, which is disappointing as many models give you the option of using or plugging in batteries. Bottom line, this is a good sound machine if you're not too picky about what sounds you fall asleep to, as this one doesn't give you many options.
