This attractive shower head will enhance any bathroom. It is brushed nickel and most of the shower armrests are chrome plated. I didn't find the contrast disturbing and thought it would be a nice addition. You can form your own opinion about the image of the installed attachment. The place where we installed this shower head is at the end of the city water supply. That's adequate and no small feat, but the pressure isn't appropriate for new water-saving devices. Therefore, the small black rubber o-ring was removed prior to installation. It's not difficult, but you can try it on your system first to see if you're happy with the water-saving water feature. If not, remove the washer and then just the rubber o-ring, being careful not to damage the blue plastic. Once removed, replace the washer in the same manner as the one removed previously and you can now attach the nozzle to the shower head. Pfister emphasizes that you must use Teflon tape, which is NOT included in the installation kit. You could cut out the imprint or part of the packaging and include a small amount of tape needed for installation. The cost of this is minimal, but the cheapest I found was $1 plus tax. I now have enough tape to install at least 100 or more showerheads! In my opinion, a ridiculous omission and unnecessary extra work. Pfister's LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY is very good BUT you must read the fine print before throwing away the box, warranty statement and proof of purchase. While it offers lifetime protection, it is very specific as to what the user must do to actually receive warranty service. If the product is used commercially, the warranty is limited to ten years. I think this is a very good guarantee and you will probably have to search long and hard to meet the specs! Operating the shower head in all modes seemed easy to me. You have to use two hands to move the lever from one mode to another. But you can also choose a blend mode between two different modes for a personalized experience. With the flow restrictor o-ring removed, the flow was more than adequate. In fact, it can be a little strong in a rain mode for those with fine sensitivities. However, this is not a problem as a simple slight movement of the lever adjusts the flow to the desired level. Overall it looks like a quality build. The installation went flawlessly, no problems screwing new threads onto the old shower holder. Once you don't need to buy the Teflon tape for installation, don't miss information about flow restrictions, and understand the "limitations" of the warranty, you'll have years of trouble-free performance and showering fun!
