I use this wrapping paper as a combination of protection and aesthetic packaging for my handmade pottery. The paper quality is very good and you get a decent amount for the price. My customers and people to whom I have given ceramics have commented that they appreciate that I use 100% recycled paper and that it looks nice too (of course it's better to give them ceramics wrapped in old newspaper!). The paper is thick and not entirely translucent, comparable in thickness and strength (but slightly lighter) to paper grocery bags. It takes ribbons, ink stamps and stickers well. I would recommend this paper for wrapping gifts as well as insulating fragile items in transit.
