He gave my printer an error code which basically said my printer needed repairs then Canon told me not to pay for the repairs then I bought bought a new printer and got the same error code in a new printer with that brand of cartridges. Then I refilled Canon ink and the error code disappeared. The printer is fine. It might not happen to you, but that's my experience with them. Unfortunately. Edit: My printer was a Canon mx492. Based on other good reviews, it probably works well with other things. They refunded my money so that's fair but it happened to me anyway.
