Ever since my son committed suicide in 2015, I've worn a necklace my niece gave me. She wore a heart shaped pendant with his name on it. It was like a touchstone and I kept rubbing at it. Unfortunately the chain broke just like the one I bought as a replacement. He actually served over 6 years. To say I'm gone is an understatement. A few weeks ago I saw this necklace and ordered one with his initial and also added a heart charm. The chain is much stronger than the previous one I ordered. I love that it looks like vintage jewelry. Nice, I hope it holds up to constant wear and tear.
