The product is very easy to assemble. However, they are not particularly comfortable and I have concerns about their durability. The bolts that attach the base to the seat were very short and the locking mechanism, washer, etc. were missing. Time will tell how well the seat will hold up. In terms of comfort, they feel odd. A bit lumpy in unexpected places. The back is low as you can see from the photos, but it doesn't seem "ergonomic". When seated correctly, the backrest of the chair does not touch the physical backrest at all. It's almost like a stool without a backrest, but with a "back" just for aesthetic reasons. There is a gap of at least 3 inches between my back and the back of the chair. In fact, you can't lean back into them without craning your back at an odd angle. The part that forms the back is also slightly crooked in both cases. They are adjustable up and down, which is normal. I bought these to replace some wooden bar stools that are beginning to fall apart due to wear and tear. In comparison, my old stools are much more comfortable. However, I'm not sure I'm ready to give up my old chairs after collecting them.
