Because the left button on my mouse from the Sculpt Ergonomic set started to get stuck every now and then, I decided to upgrade to the Sculpt Comfort Mouse. I went with this one because it is the final wireless offering from Microsoft and has bluetooth. Bluetooth was adamant about avoiding the production of a large number of proprietary adapters. I liked the mouse, and the button sensor in particular was useful. which you can press in addition to swiping up and down on it. The default behavior for gestures and presses is to open the Windows menu when you move the pointer back and forth. This behavior can be changed. When the application is run with administrator rights, gestures function in the same way as usual. Concerning the dependability of my work, I have a Bluetooth 4.0 adapter placed at least two meters away from the table (so that the headphones can cover more of the apartment;)) and the mouse operates without any issues. In case there is any confusion, I will specify that I am using Windows 10 x64 1703. Ergonomics,. The Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse is my preference over any other model (although it scared me when I started using the Ergonomic). My hand tires out more quickly when I use Comfort, and it seems to me that it drives even more poorly on the table than Ergonomic does. This would have been the choice that Microsoft made if the Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse had been enhanced with bluetooth connectivity and a sensor button. But this is just my personal opinion. After a week of using the Sculpt Comfort Mouse, I decided to give it to my wife and continue using the Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse myself. In the end, I discovered a guide that explained how to disassemble the Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse, and after doing so, I cleaned it and reassembled it. By the way, the mouse I use for my laptop is a Designer Mouse, but I also have a PC. On the other hand, if I were a wife who spent a lot of time on the computer, I would pick the Sculpt Comfort Mouse because it strikes a balance between portability and comfort.
