So far so good

I haven't had them long enough to comment on their long term quality. In the short term they are phenomenal. They are very comfortable. They allow you to press the earring firmly against your ear if it is a longer stud or a heavy earring. If it's a shorter pen, the silicone creates enough suction to still hold it in place. I have heart shaped ones and the little metal bands around them are a nice touch. You haven't triggered any sensitivity in me yet. I haven't worn them in the shower so I don't know how the metal will react to that. If it's ugly I'll just delete it. You sleep comfortably in it. I think it would be great for kids to wear earrings in as long as they are not too big for their little ears. I would replace the backs of fresh earrings with these just to increase sleeping comfort. If they end up fading, I'll update. I ended up bleeding when I accidentally nearly ripped my earring and the silicone cleaned well without leaving any stains. I think the safety of my back in the way it's stabilized actually saved me from a much more serious injury because my pillowcase had less slack to hold on to. This is an aesthetically pleasing and useful background set to use with all your messages. As long as the silicone lasts, they should be the only supports a person needs for their earlobes. Not sure what hair products could be associated with this over time, but clean and keep out of the sun. I have clear silicone molds that are over a decade old and still pretty good and have definitely seen more chemicals than most people's minds, so in theory they should be the most worthy investment.

Pros
  • Bead and jewelry making
Cons
  • Slightly torn
