I hate wearing sneakers in the summer. Especially when walking on the beach. I bought these because they looked like they had a high arch unlike most sandals or flip flops. I've been wearing them every day for a week and I love them. They are sleek enough to be worn as dress shoes, but comfortable enough to be worn as a casual shoe. I have back and knee problems so my shoes need to have enough support so I can walk without pain shooting up and down my back in both legs. Definitely a must if you want comfort. Also, I bought a size 9 although I wear an 8 and they fit perfectly.
