Review on πŸ”Š Sony XB20 Red Bluetooth Portable Wireless Speaker: Enhance your Listening Experience! by Tio Kotaki

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent sound quality for its size, reasonable battery life, many features, most of which are useful

Summary: I've been using this speaker since 2017 I'm using it happily. The sound this speaker produces is impressive compared to other speakers that could compete with it. I enjoyed listening to music with this speaker and for the most part there was no distortion that only comes with hardcore bass music. And in this case, you can disable "Extra Bass" to weaken the sound quality. The volume it achieves can fill a large room (yoga teachers will love it), and it's a great companion for those partying outdoors and looking for a solid solution. The speaker looks good and its build quality is good too, as it can handle bumps here and there. Sony claims the battery should last up to 12 hours. It is possible depending on how you are going to use it. If you plan to play audio in max volume, it expires in about 3 hours. It's water resistant, which makes it very useful for outdoor activities, but I personally haven't used it near water (unless you plan on placing it in the kitchen while you're washing dishes). .).The operation of this speaker, including the special functions, is a simple task that does not require a university degree. It can be linked to other speakers (2 produces 'Stereo' mode or 2-99 as 'Wired Party Chain') but this feature is limited to some models which I find a little disappointing. The wireless signal works well at a distance of up to 10 meters and even more. Communication degrades when the distance is long and an additional speaker is added to the streaming audio (in "Stereo" mode). (Although I haven't tried it with Alexa...). Some of its features are good (built-in microphone for phone calls and voice support, extra bass, paired with speakers 1-99, NFC support), while others I don't really care (like the light, which I prefer to turn off to save the battery spare). Energy). There is an app that you can use with this speaker (media player, connect to other speakers etc) but so far I haven't used it and I'm fine with it... I was able to buy this speaker on sale for around $50, which was a lot. When it's not on sale, the price seems far from attractive as there are many alternatives on the market. There are newer models on the market (Sony SRS-XB21) but I'm not sure they offer as many improvements over the Sony SRS-XB20. Overall, this is one of the best portable speakers I've ever bought, so I highly recommend it. However, if you want to use it with other speakers, just make sure they all support the same features so you can use them together. Please note that I have attached screenshots to this review + a video review I made of my experience with this controller. Pros: β€’ Elegant design β€’ Excellent build quality β€’ Satisfactory volume and excellent sound quality β€’ Waterproof to a certain extent β€’ Easy to use β€’ Can be connected to another speaker to create a stereo mode β€’ Supports "Wireless Party Chain” β€’ Supports NFC β€’ Acceptable cost of battery life with moderate usage. β€’ Can be used as a speakerphone for phone calls. β€’ Enables voice assistant β€’ Provides flash function. Cons: β€’ Price when not on sale β€’ There is a newer model that is very similar. Disadvantages of adding a second speaker to create a "Stereo" mode β€’ Special Sony speakers that support "Add" and "Wireless Party Chain" are required to use these functions. Please ask and I will do my best to refuse.
