This set is AMAZING! Highly recommend

This set is AWESOME! I highly recommend it! I bought this to grow crystals in the office as a fun experiment to keep myself entertained during busy times of the year and it didn't disappoint. You must follow the instructions carefully. I made the fatal mistake on my first try and didn't wait the full 30 minutes before seeding the crystals and ended up not growing anything. On further attempts I followed T.'s instructions and was able to grow beautiful crystals. I even ordered a second set because the results were amazing. The steps are simple enough that I had no trouble growing her in my office. All you need is boiling water and everything else is included. The first step is to dissolve the crystalline mixture (it almost looks like sugar) in hot water. You should then leave it for 15 minutes and then put it in a clear plastic container where the crystal will grow. WAIT ANOTHER 30 MINUTES after transferring water. This step is critical, otherwise the crystals will not grow. After waiting the given time, drop the Crystal Seeds. They feature blue, red, and white crystals so you can mix and match them to create colorful crystals. Each type of seed crystal appears to grow into a crystal of a different shape. I've noticed that the red seed crystals grow into blockier crystals while the blue seeds produce sharper/pointier crystals that will bloom. Blue and red create a crystal that looks like a combination of the two - it blooms but is more like a block. Keep that in mind when choosing the colors you make. You will see growth overnight. It's amazing to see progress. The instructions say it takes 4-7 days for the crystals to fully grow. I would keep an eye on them and drain the water when the crystal emerges from the water. Leaving it for too long will expose the crystal to air, forming "snow" growths on top (which I find ugly). The growth rate is affected by both the room temperature and the size of the crystal you are growing. Crystals grow well at higher temperatures. Small crystals grow faster than large ones. Each sachet of crystal mix can be crafted into 1 large, 2 medium, or 4 small sachets. The kit allows you to grow 1 large crystal, 2 medium crystals and 4 small crystals at the same time because that is the number of containers they offer. If you want to grow 3 large ones you can grow them individually as they only provide one large container. I think the big crystals are the coolest. All in all this is an amazing set. Everyone in the office is jealous and now they want to grow their own crystals too. 5 Stars! I want to make ALL the crystals!
