First of all, the quality is excellent! It feels solid and the keystrokes are very comfortable. It's definitely a smaller format than a regular keyboard so you'll have to adjust your fingers accordingly, but for me it's all about being able to travel light on a plane. I had to go to a one day seminar and didn't want to take my 17 inch laptop on the plane to take notes, so I used my iPhone with this keyboard to take notes during the 8 hour seminar. For that it worked great. !The keys are backlit with LED backlights in several different colors (you can choose which ones) and 3 different brightnesses (or completely off). It is very easy to adjust everything. The bottom of the keyboard is metal (magnets stick to it ) ), and the top is plastic. Its thickness at its thickest point is 9.5 x 5.25 x 0.25 inches. It was easy to connect to my phone. I will say that from my experience (I haven't tried different scenarios, that's just what I noticed while using it) that if you connect it to one device and then connect to another device, you first try to connect again as if it were a new connection (not that it's hard). However, when you use it with a device, it automatically connects every time you turn it on. The keyboard has different controls depending on what device you are using it with. First, you press a specific key combination to select the device you're using, and the controls change to work with that device. Once you set it up this way, you don't have to select it every time you use it. It saves these settings. I use it with an iPhone and the main thing I control with the keyboard is the screen brightness. For this 8 hour workshop it came in handy to dim the screen with the keyboard instead of picking up the phone and doing it to save battery. I haven't used the keyboard long enough to know how long the battery will last. , but I know that it didn't die off in me during the whole seminar. It goes to sleep if it's not used for a while, but as soon as you start hitting a few keys it wakes up. A couple of times it was a bit frustrating to start typing when he was asleep, but I think it's better than him dying from being on all the time and draining the battery. It didn't take long for me to wake up, I just had to get used to the feature. The case it comes in is also good. Not sure how it will hold up over time given a lot of use (haven't used it in so long to know), but for now it seems fine. I've used it on my lap for typing in a workshop, pressing the phone against the support it generates when folded and it worked well. It would have been nicer to have a larger surface area to put it on than just my feet, but I was able to make it work as is. The keyboard is attached to the case with a magnet. So if I don't want to use it, I can just remove it from the case. I would highly recommend it to others and if I need another I will definitely buy it again. And in case you're wondering, I did NOT get this product for free or at a discount. I paid full price for it. :)
