I ordered this because of the color but to be honest I was afraid that I would have to send it back because the gloves would be too big for small women's hands. I was pleasantly surprised, they're just a tad big, not so much that they're unsightly or uncomfortable. The color is everything I hoped for. I had trouble finding a winter set to match my burgundy coat, that although the coat appears red at first glance, it has a certain 'ripening eggplant' burgundy hue, so the more common crimson scarves and hats don't match perfectly. Threads that make the weave redder in some places and bluer in others, with an overall "cold" hue and not the color of a fire engine or brick red like the coat I was trying to match. What else would be helpful to know? The scarf is standard length, thick but not heavy, and most importantly, not prickly. The hat is lined with a very dark "fluffy" fabric that helps keep your head warm. It's comfortable with good stretch on both sides. I haven't noticed any major static electricity issues and my hair doesn't frizz. Touch screen gloves' fingertips aren't fantastic, but that's probably because they don't fit snugly around me. They probably work better for someone with large hands filling the gloves. I don't mind this small complaint because it's not a feature I really need. I recommend this set!
