This will be my third Sony shower radio in 10-15 years. Easy setup. A rubber strap is more hygienic than a "rope" strap, which gets wet and collects germs. The worst part of this new iteration, however, is a simple timer that played my radio in the shower for, say, 10 minutes while I showered, shaved, got dressed, etc. (yes, I'm a simple guy going to work goes). The radio used to just go on in the shower, like a simple repeat radio or podcast going on. But no! Now this radio will turn on the alarm when it turns off. My wife, sleeping peacefully, wakes up.
