Review on Zamst ZW 5 Back Brace Large by Victor Shepherd

I used lumbar supports like this many years ago, particularly when riding a motorcycle, but also for general lower back problems. This medium version has slightly less elastic stiffness than the typical universal lumbar supports I've used in the past that share the same basic design. I like the fact that they sit well on the waist and are lower than other guys. Doesn't interfere with rigorous movement (I'm busy logging). But with the thoughtful design and the nylon inserts (which the cheaper ones I used didn't have), I was expecting a little more support. If you only need moderate support, the product seems well designed and durable then this would be a good choice. Just don't use it for high level aerobic exercise (restricts the diaphragm) and eat lightly before use as it restricts digestive processes. .
