I've tried everything from drug store crap to department store crap to hippie shop crap. light, problematic skin. Seemed like a potentially ideal solution. I found a vegan BB cream at the pharmacy but the ingredients and the price were always a problem. I kept looking and when I came across 1000 Roses of Andalou I bought it because it was more natural and less expensive. It also turned out to be a MUCH excellent product. pale, freckled skin and Andalou in the light - the perfect combination. Blends easily (I just use my fingertips) and doesn't leave a "mask" on the neck or hairline. The coating is fairly transparent, but that's exactly what I want. Doesn't hide pimples, but doesn't cause them either! It evens out skin tone and gives a very healthy, dewy look - and please note that by "moist" I don't mean "shiny" - I'm a grown woman after all. I don't want my face to look like the bottom of a plastic unicorn. I love the SPF factor and unlike many natural sunscreens, like I said, it blends beautifully. In fact, I never feel the need to reapply it unless I need a heavier sunscreen for some reason in the middle of the day. .but I never feel like I'm "sweating" from it or that it's soaking soaked that my hideous true colors are exposed. I think this is my fourth purchase and I will continue to buy as long as they keep making this item.
