I bought these towels despite the conflicting reviews. I thought the overall rating was supposed to take something into account, right? Oh well. I am very happy with these towels. I was surprised at the quality, especially considering the price. I bought the set for the same price but it was so cheap and flimsy that I immediately sent it back. These towels, on the other hand, are soft, dry well, and have the perfect thickness/softness; they are not too thick and heavy. Oddly, but not in a negative sense, one side of the towel is softer than the other, like it's brushed or something. It's not that the other side of the towel isn't soft, but there is a difference between the sides. I've washed them twice since receiving them and haven't noticed any tangles or discoloration. The towels are still a bit fluffy on the softer side of the towel and using that side will leave some fluff on drying. However, this is not a violation of the terms of the contract. I've found that the softer side doesn't leave lint, so I make sure to use that side until I've washed it enough times that the softer side doesn't leave lint. The color shown is quite close to the actual product. I bought Seaglass Green and the shade is very close; They are just a little darker than shown in the picture. I knew they would be a little more bluish than the color I was hoping to find, but they still go well with my bathroom colors. If they were a light sage color, they would be almost perfect. towels for our bathroom.
