I have had these headphones for 7 years and they are still my favorite headphones for listening to music. I've had more quality headphones (up to $2,000 each) than I care to admit or list. I keep coming back to her for her tireless ability to listen for long periods of time. I listen to all genres but mainly electronic ones. Sources range from Spotify to uncompressed CDs and vinyl rips. They work best with a headphone amp and I have several ranging from home made SS kits and tubes, Ray Samuels Audio Predator (for portability) and my personal favorite Little Dot MKIII. I'm using a Beresford TC-7520 DAC with LM4562 op amps to power an LD MKIII via dedicated autoformers and to me it's the most satisfying combination to listen to. I don't think you can find better open back headphones than these for less than $2,000. Certainly a clearer or maybe better picture, but that's what I hear 90% of the time. Update: I just bought replacement pads for them in August 2021. Originally bought in 2010. i still love her
