Excellent support. Excellent quality

When the product arrived I was very excited. I connected it to my computer and nothing. The microphone didn't work. I followed the instructions and verified that it was properly paired with the receiver. I tested on two computers and got the same result. This usually reduces the rating of the product, but it still gets 5 stars. I contacted support via email and they responded quickly. They treated me like a valued customer and tried to help immediately. When things still didn't work (but my regular headset did) they asked me to take some photos to make sure everything was connected properly. Of course everything is connected correctly. Then they asked me, have you tried it on your phone? I have a phone with a 3.5mm jack (like all phones) and I've tried it (using OpenCamera for Android so I can use an external microphone). Of course it worked. This told me that my problem was related to Windows and not the product. Here's what I found out1. On Windows 10 you need to identify the microphone as a headset and not a microphone. Now that I know that, I understand why. It uses the same 3-prong connector as the headset instead of the 1-prong mic connector. This changes the way the computer interacts with the audio port. This made it work on ONE of my computers (Dell) but not on the other (Acer).2. Searching the internet I found that my Acer laptop has a strange problem. I have to restart my computer every time I plug in a headset or start up with the headset plugged in just for it to work. I didn't think to test the headset on my Acer, so I didn't identify this as a problem before. As the issues I had were NOT related to the Alvoxcon wireless microphone and the support was very responsive, helpful and friendly I cannot blame them for the issue. Instead they get points for 1. Excellent Support2. Excellent sound quality (yes once I got it working the sound quality was great 3. High quality device 4. Easy pairing 5. Excellent overall value I am very happy with their team and their product and recommend it to everyone.
