My only complaint is that one of the blocks appears to have been returned by another customer, it wasn't in the plastic wrap and the instructions were crumpled and stuffed in the box. , the other block was obviously new. I installed both and had to tweak them a few times, but now they work great. I put them in my garage, I started in the dark to get the time I wanted and then when it got so dark that I would otherwise turn on the light I set them to work with this amount of light (lux ). They work great and I would buy them again. I suspect they are sent back because people don't know how to set them up, the instructions are poorly worded, probably because they are from China, and the English language translation doesn't usually work. You will need to have a small screwdriver and a step stool/ladder handy until you are finished adjusting. Now when we move in or I leave the house, the light comes on automatically and I don't have to remember to turn it off, which I often did. The left rotary knob is responsible for the time during which the light stays on, the right rotary knob (lux) regulates the recording at a certain level of illumination. Time is best spent in the dark. Lux is best performed when you normally turn on the light, you slowly turn the Lux knob until it lights up and you should be ready to go.
