Work pays :) for paint, wall care products and supplies

Before I bought four boxes of Wavy 3D Wall 3D Painting I read as many reviews as I could and thought I could handle them. . As mentioned in some reviews, do's and don'ts. Spring. It never occurred to me that the wall I chose for the art isn't quite square. Because I live in an old house. So my dilemma was to keep the pattern straight and even. Then I had to figure out how to attach them to the textured painted wall. I measured how many panels would go over the wall and then down. No problems until I discovered I had to cut multiple panels to finish one side, seven to be exact. No matter how I placed the panels on the wall, I had to trim some of them to fit, so instead of dividing the difference and cutting off fourteen panels, I made the cuts on one side of the wall. I was afraid it would look cut on both sides. I've found it's best to use large, sharp scissors to cut the panels. Made clean cuts. Either for cutting around an outlet or for smaller parts. Now I had to figure out what product to use to mount them to the wall. I have found that using my hot glue gun works best and is easy to work with. You have to work fast because the glue cools and if it's not in place while the glue is still hot it won't stick. I put a small amount on each corner of the panels and quickly laid them in place. I also found them to be easy to remove, if they need to be adjusted just re-apply hot glue. So after working on this project for a weekend I LOVE the end results. OMG, this is beautiful. I didn't paint the panels cream, but I painted the three surrounding walls a darker color and now the 3D wall just stands out. I got so many compliments on my DIY project. Well worth the effort and hard work.
