I would give 5 stars for comfort if the fit in the photo wasn't misleading. The model has the top of the shorts approximately 1 inch below her belly button. For me, the tip goes about 5 inches ABOVE MY navel. Also in the picture is a nice wide elastic band. Tasty in the stomach, right? No, there is a thin 1 inch elastic inside that nice wide elastic. . This is fine except that when I want to fold the strap down to make it lower, it's uneven instead of flat and tight. No additional tightening of the fabric in the stomach or waist area. Sometimes a wide tummy tuck is sewn to the jeans at the waist, which I expected. Not this one. What I love about them and the reason I keep them is that they are the perfect length for shorts to avoid chafing. I will be walking around a lot in this suit and not just lounging by the pool so the length is perfect for me. So if you don't mind a maternity top, this suit is comfortable and long enough not to chafe.
