For the past 4 years I have installed typical LED lights under the artillery pieces on my boat for use in early morning tournaments. Eventually they started falling apart due to the elements so I looked for a replacement and they fit the bill very well. Since they are encased in silicone I think they will last longer. Thanks to the silicone sleeve, they are easy to stick on double-sided 3M tape. They are very bright and I like the even light from each LED. I connected them directly to the mute switch on my panel, which has a fuse from the factory. Works great when connected directly to 12V.
