Excellent whitening heads, recommend/recommend

Long Review: These brush heads do a great job of cleaning your teeth leaving you feeling fresh after a visit to the dentist. The central polishing cup (previously yellow, now purple in this version) gives these tips increased whitening power. Unlike brush bristles that use toothpaste to remove plaque, the polishing cap rubs the paste into the tooth. This allows toothpaste ingredients such as micropearls (or "micro-cleaning tooth whiteners" as listed on the Crest 3D White Brilliance toothpaste page) to remove surface stains. I can confirm that they do indeed work. It's also a good price for so many attachments. If you change them every 3 months as suggested, that's an annual supply for <$20. That's $1.60 a month if you want to break it down that way. I mentioned that they can get dirty and that is due to their construction with a small narrow hole into which the brush body's oscillating metal pin is inserted. . This applies to all attachments for these brush bodies and does not apply to this brand; you can't avoid it. If you're like me, you don't want to take the time to remove the brush head after each brush and it will remain wet (from the water you rinse the brush with, not saliva). That moisture is the perfect breeding ground for bacteria, and if you're really rough, ignore it long enough for the brush to smell (pro tip, don't do this). You can take the time and effort to clean that little hole with a cotton swab if you want, but it's not very effective. In my opinion, the easiest and best way to clean it is to use a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution, which can be found at many stores for about $1.50 for 16 ounces (450 ml) or so. Simply place the brush head in a small cup and fill it up with peroxide solution, at least up to the small hole in the front of the head. Leave overnight. It will foam and a bunch of nasty things will spill out of that little hole. You can also cover the brush head or turn it upside down to clean the head yourself. I would recommend doing this 1-3 times a month to keep everything fresh, but you can do it more or less as you like. Overall this is a great product and I'm glad I found it here as I've been looking for this type of head in stores all over the place. They are my favourites.
