Review on 🔷 Revive Your Metal Surfaces with Blue Magic 500-06 Metal Polish Cream - 19 3/8 oz. by Jon Louis

I bought this after reading a lot of reviews and wanted something that would work but not be so bad as to damage the chrome or paint around it. This product is easily abused i.e. overused. I bought this large 19+ oz can thinking it would take a lot to blow up the bike, but I left almost no dent in the container and almost finished the first pass on the bike. The pros are it works well, cleans chrome and metal well when there is decent chrome under the dirt etc. I used a little on a piece of cloth first and worked the metal. Then polish with a clean cloth. Most of the time this seems good enough, but if you have surface rust or pitting/discoloration you will find that you need to go through it again, perhaps with 0000 steel wool which is abrasive enough to remove some of it. without damaging the chrome itself. Overall I am very happy with the purchase, however in my experience I see that there are times/conditions when I would like something even more permanent to use on more heavily tarnished/damaged chrome. or Metal, but Blue Magic works if you put a little extra effort into what you're doing. Once the metal is clean and shiny, subsequent cleaning/polishing is very quick. The only cons I can think of are the ones others have already mentioned. The smell of ammonia is quite strong, so be sure to work in an open or well-ventilated area. I keep the container away from me and work in the garage with the door open and have had no problems. I also tend to limit myself to 1-2 hours of polishing at a time to avoid prolonged exposure to the fumes. Another issue is that you should probably wear protective gloves when working with this metal polish. It's not like it's going to harm your skin if you put on a little bit, but if I've been too lazy to put on a pair of latex gloves, the combination of dirt, rust, and Blue Magic makes it difficult, if not impossible, to wash your hands /Finger. I had a few days after spending some time using this product without gloves where a pair of fingers retained a darker and dirtier appearance. My wife wasn't happy but after a few days it was all washed off/erased and now I always polish metal with gloves on.
