Like many others, I wanted to stop throwing away so many cotton swabs. I'm really glad I found her. They work very well with eye makeup remover, micellar water and toner. I washed them and they came out clean with no traces of foundation or mascara (I rinse them first and wring them out after use, but that alone doesn't remove all the pigment - the washing machine did though). I'm also glad that I have less plastic packaging waste because I don't buy cotton pads. They came in a plastic bag, but at least it was a one-time deal. Edited to add: After a few uses and washes, some pads are showing makeup discoloration (very very slight but will likely build up over time with continued use). .) I don't mind and am very happy with my purchase so far, but thought I should mention it.
