If you are looking to modify or bypass the VATS/PassKey system in your GM vehicle with wiring in resistor impedance the bulb of your ignition key, then this is probably the connector you are looking for. It connects to the connector on the vehicle (instead of the connector that comes from the ignition cylinder). The VATS system was used on various GM models between 1986 and 2003, so ensure your vehicle's system uses this connector. It was delivered to me as a genuine ACDelco part (part number PT146) in its original packaging with GM part number 12085535. Its two loose wires are about a foot long. Also included were a pair of crimp connectors.
