pops is good. Lots of steam. The cost of popcorn depends on the brand you buy. I bought the recommended popcorn for this popper and hit or miss the packets. Something fresh, something stale. It's not Popper's fault. The instructions were very confusing and could have been more detailed. When I was done, it was actually pretty easy to do. Looks good. Unfolds quickly. I just wish it was a little bigger. **UPDATE** After about 5 uses, the pot with the popcorn didn't stay closed during the pop, and the gap in the door is so wide that the kernels and popcorn fly all over the bottom. . I have submitted a warranty exchange request but have not received a response from Great Northern. Your website leaves very little to the imagination and Revane wants me to wrap everything up and send it back! Purely absurd. I just want a new pot.
