Attention buyers. Setting up this device with Apple Homekit got it connected to Wi-Fi, but nothing could be done with it on an IOS device without the eHomeLife app which is NOT recommended in the user manual. After downloading the app and creating an account, I was able to add the device and edit the name. Then the fun began with trying to integrate it with the Alexa app. Alexa can't find the device and when you try to use the eHomeLife skill, you can't sign in with a "No such user" error message. Apparently I'm not the only one with this problem. There are 3 other apps for the same parent company Meross but none of them work. I will return this product.
