I have very dry skin that is prone to eczema. I always get itchy when I forget to moisturize my skin. I often look for lotions that are sulfate-free, paraben-free, phlate-free, and cruelty-free. I like that this product meets those criteria. Before trying this I used Palmer's Cocoa Butter Lotion which worked well but my husband didn't really like the smell. I was intrigued by this because I love the scent of eucalyptus and mint together. It smells quite nice, but not quite what I imagined and doesn't last as long as I'd like. i still like it It keeps my skin hydrated for quite a while, and a little goes a long way. It's a very intense moisturizer and probably one of its downsides is its thickness and consistency. It applies very heavily, making you sweat quickly and profusely as your pores cannot breathe if you get hot shortly after application. It leaves your skin as white as tanning lotion until you massage it all over or apply to other areas. Perhaps this is the only downside of this lotion. I'll keep using it for now because it keeps my skin from drying out, but I'm hoping to find something less heavy in the future.
