Great but disappointing

They are very strange because for some reason they don't stay, but removing them is also a nightmare. They break into small pieces and leave residue behind. They stay on smooth, clean surfaces for several days, but then curl around the edges. The decals look great and are translucent. Looks like vintage paper or rice paper with a matte finish. If they stayed it would be great. If they didn't stay, but went off clean and easy, it would be better.
