She tried them on before Christmas and then repacked them to unwrap them on Christmas day. The shoes fit very well and she loves the feel and ease of putting them on. The material seems to be of high quality but that is the result of observing my daughter's reaction. Great shoes. Update 2/28/2021 My daughter loves them too much to wear them around the house as slippers wear out. Taking away 2 stars I think $75-$80 shoes aren't going to go where the big toe is. So remember that these shoes feel like shoes or slippers worn from time to time, not like slippers all the time around the house. My $10 Old Navy slippers that I bought 3 winters ago are still intact and not fading.
