I bought this rear diff cover from Dorman for my 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500. It came with a better gasket than I expected so I ended up using another gasket that I bought separately. I cleaned the lid very well, applied four coats of Rustoleum Professional black enamel spray paint over the weekend, then applied it with 12-point ARP -Stainless steel bolts and filled the differential with over 2 liters of AC Delco 75w-90 fully synthetic gear/bridge oil.Looks really good and the Eaton G-80 transfer case runs smoother and quieter with synthetic oil.It had a leak from the filler plug which is in fact a washer so I tightened it a bit more (less than half a turn) and so far no more drips.
