Poor design for computers and accessories

A few complaints, the main one being that the F1-F12 keys perform alternate functions by default. I personally find this annoying because I don't use these functions, but I understand that this is a multimedia keyboard and these keys contain functions like play/pause, back and forward. Excellent. However, the command to change the function of these keys (Fn + Caps Lock) is not permanent. This means that every time you turn on the keyboard you have Fn + Caps Lock (poor design) and if you forget this and press Alt + F4 to close the program you are actually hitting the sleep button. Why do you need to put Sleep on any key with a common command? Set it to F9, almost nothing uses F9, or make it your own button. The next complaint is reach. They advertise 30 feet. Now my apartment isn't big enough to be 30 feet from my computer so I can't confirm that. What I can say is that if you put a new pair of batteries in this keyboard, it works great for 2 days and then you have an intermittent response. no Luckily for me, the 6 feet I sit from my computer when I'm sitting upright is close enough to work properly, as opposed to the 7 feet I'm hunched over on the couch. But for a lot of people, it's probably maddening. Also, you'll be changing these batteries every month if you don't know which brand works better than the 3 pairs I've used so far (Energizer Lithium, Duracell Ultra, and Duracell Max). does not work when the button is pressed. This is generally annoying, but it's compounded by an odd keyboard design feature. They say it's "spill-proof" or something, and to its credit, it's handled a few spills pretty well. Unfortunately, if your liquid was sticky, the keys can "stick" without appearing to have been pressed. This means that sometimes the mouse stops working for no apparent reason and I have to press all the buttons several times until the invisibly stuck one comes loose.
