The plastic part does not have a latch that can be lifted to remove. Installation is fine, but next time the blade will be more difficult to remove. I got them because another brand I bought from a car shop didn't come hidden or concealed under the windshield. The old ones had a latch that you just had to lift. Need a screwdriver or something to put new ones in. Funny, the guide shows how to remove and install the old ones. I'm not sure if the Subaru Superstore is selling a different batch to those available at the Subaru dealership or if Subaru lost love and changed them all. The Bosch Ikon has a tab that you just lift up but aren't sure if they're invisible.
