Beads worked well and felt great, very nice. I'd say I soaked mine for 5 hours (recommended 4-6) and that seemed to work fine for 1 teaspoon of pearls as directed by the instructions. They were advertised as reusable but I activated them about 27 hours ago and they haven't dried yet. While I doubt they can be reactivated, I think they stay activated and can be reused every time you create them. The tools that come with it are very cheap and one of my shovel tools broke the moment I touched it. Edit: After putting the beads on a paper towel they really shrink, it only took about 3 days. So more reusable than I originally thought!
