I was pleasantly surprised that the dress was as true to the picture as possible. The tulle is definitely not as full as in the picture and not as full as in the photo. However, adding a hoop skirt underneath gives you the same volume. I read that someone spent quite a bit of money trying to wring it out. It definitely needs to be petted, but you can do it yourself. It took 3 hours but I saved $100! If you decide to iron it yourself, DO NOT put the iron directly on the tulle as it will melt. Use the lowest steam setting and use a damp towel or cloth between the iron and the dress. I managed to add volume to the tulle by laying it out exactly on one side of the seam and then turning it over and ironing the other side. Overall I am very happy with this dress and can't wait for my daughter to wear it to her first pageant!
