Not puncture resistant, no protection against snake bites.

Nice leggings but I wouldn't rely on them for snakebite protection. Working in areas with a constant presence of rattlesnakes, copperheads and aquatic mosses in our work areas, we always test our spats with large fishhooks that match the profile of snake teeth. We only use people who have passed this test. They failed because they did not prevent easy penetration of the hooks and were not effective against the briar spines. Convenient, but we won't assign them to our snakebite protection teams.
