This makeup kit works great and is very well put together. This makeup set arrived safe and sound except for one as shown in the pictures. Once opened, this set showcases a wide range of colors and contains everything you could think of in a makeup kit. It includes a pair of eyeshadow pads. The choice is with a choice of matte and shimmer. Although the item pictured appears to be very light in color tones, the actual colors may appear less vivid. The hard case is pretty solid and does its job. Each of the shells inside is easy to pull out so you can take them with you, or if you click on the pan (use all colors) you can continue using the case. It's not too big but compact enough to take with you when you need to do makeup on the go. First impressions are excellent, but then I noticed a pungent smell from it. I'm not sure if it's cosmetic or if it's intrinsic. But it has a certain smell. I did swatches on my hand, the color of the pigment is light. It will not look like a high-end brand. I don't think it's worth the price it's currently listed as you might be able to find the same thing for less. But if the price was lower, I think it would be suitable for a young girl starting makeup. Or for a fun young girls birthday party. It can also be used for fun Halloween makeup. But then again when the price was lowered. Overall this is a great makeup set with a nice sturdy case. It's a bit pricey but I'd recommend it if you have it on sale.
