I bought this for my 6 year old son to carry his bag to hockey practice. Overall we like the bag very much and for the money I would buy it again. The construction seems relatively solid and I think this bag will last a long time. It has enough space for a young hockey player. A side compartment fits both of my sons youth size skates, but depending on the size of the skates, this bag will only fit one skate in the side pocket, leaving only a smaller front storage compartment for other items. See "Cons" below for why I removed one. star.Pros + 4 stars: - The zippers are durable and look like they will last a long time. - The overall construction seems to be good. - Perfect size for a junior hockey player with plenty of room for youth pads, skates and gear. - Empty, folds compactly for storage. We always have gear in our bags, so it doesn't really matter to us. Cons - 1 star: - The bag falls off when there is nothing in it. It's a little annoying having to keep lifting the bag from the handle to take items out and add them to the bag. Other bags stay up even when empty - It's really a minor thing, but the wheels are plastic, not rubber, and I hope they last a long time. I wish the bag had: - Organizational shelves in main compartment for separating gear - Smaller compartments in main pocket for tape, washers and small items.
