I wore out my original pencil tip and had to replace it after the metal became visible. I wasn't sure if the Apple imitation would work very well, so I ordered both this brand and Apple's official picks to compare. I looked at them through a magnifying glass and literally couldn't tell them apart. Not only are these tips half the price, they also 1) work great with no mating or printing errors, 2) are absolutely smooth and just as hard as Apple tips, and 3) screw tightly into the exact same spot on the threads. like Apple's nibs do (important if you're a heavy user as under tightening the nib can cause the nib to twist out even more than the original nibs when you draw - so annoying). They also sent me some of those silicone tip bushings. that you slide over a hard tip to reduce noise and I'm pleasantly surprised at how good they are. I don't know if it was a mistake of theirs to turn them on or if they always turn on, but I'm a fan of theirs. The pressure sensitivity is the same, and painting on a matte protective film is very similar to the oily feeling of oil painting.tldr: BUY. Don't waste your money on Apple tips when you can get the same thing for half the price.
