I was a bit skeptical about the microfiber cloth idea but decided to give it a try and am very glad I did! It's a different experience in the most wonderful way. It is very soft, very absorbent and dries out very quickly. This is the first towel I've ever used that doesn't snag on my jewelry. And yes, it can be wiped over the skin like a regular towel, just doesn't need to be squeezed as hard, it's very effective with minimal effort. Also, it's a bit thicker than I expected, just like any other towel. However, it is very large compared to the average towel (note to seller): I would like a towel size. a few inches wider and maybe a few more color options. Overall I am very happy with my purchase, I really like this towel and I highly recommend it.
