after trying 19.2 batteries and burning out all my 18 volt bulbs that came with the original 18 volt system and reading reviews , who stated that 19.2 will not harm an 18 volt system. I bought it and problem solved. So don't blow out your 18 volt lightbulbs if you don't have anything to use them with. Now I hope that the drill does not burn out from 19.2 volt batteries.
