Just installed this gem today and took it for a walk tonight for the first time. PERFECT! It really illuminates everything much better than a factory light bulb. I connected a voltmeter to my car to see what the difference was in the operating voltage of the load and I saw a 0.3 volt gain at idle compared to the old halogen. Right now I'm absolutely thrilled with the improvements this new light has made. One thing should be noted. Also change the indicators/running lights. The headlight is bright enough to outshine the front running lights/indicators. Installation was easy. Just like you change your regular lightbulb. Put on gloves! Don't ruin a good cause by pouring oil on a new body and causing premature burnout. Visibility has been improved not only for me but also for other drivers. I was concerned that I would lose the instant HI-LO/toggle capability. Not me! So if you're a bule rider like me and looking for quality upgrades that work, this is a great choice!
