Stereo turns on and off every 2 minutes

I wish it was stereo but it turns on and off every two minutes, plus you can't see anything like info on the screen and the GPS on your phone doesn't work . does not communicate with the stereo as they advertise. UPDATE 08/11 They have great customer service, they sent me a new item to try and it works great except my phone still won't pair to the stereo but after that everything works.
