Review on White Microbead Sleeping and Travel Pillow - Optimal Remedy for Better Rest by Cecilia Spencer

Works well After several days of stretching

First of all I want to say that I think pillow reviews are a superficial endeavor because one person's dream pillow is another person's terror - so go for it it for what it's worth. Me: - medium sized person, tall, not heavy, side/stomach sleeper (I sleep on my side, head and body tilted down, so half on my stomach) - I sleep on a very soft mattress, so my shoulder sags quite a bit a bit - I have problems with neck and shoulder pain. At first I thought this pillow was VERY big and hard but after trying 5 other pillows to no avail I came back to this because I've had good luck with micro bead pillows in the past - I've used a Pinzon micro bead pillow but they seem doing it will be bigger it is not produced. In any case, I had to stretch the sleeve a bit (it's a spandex-like material) to shrink the loft down to a reasonable size, and I'm pretty happy with it now, although I have to stretch and shape it a bit. every night to make her comfortable. This pillow looks like you have to rest your head on a small, sewn U-shape, but I found it much more comfortable rotating it - so the channel behind the U-shape creates a little neck support. area (don't know if that made sense or not). I have to shake the beads to the side and squeeze a little to get it comfortable (for me that means more padding behind my head than in front of my face) - but once I find a comfortable position it stays that way. away and does not slip or move. It's definitely a lot smaller than a standard pillow floating in a standard sized pillowcase, but I haven't noticed any bad smells. My ear hurts a bit with this pillow but not as bad as anything I've tried and now that it's stretched a bit I can FINALLY sleep without neck or shoulder pain. My experience is YMMV. Even if your pillow hunt is as stressful as mine, then I really understand you - it just sucks to be exhausted and in constant pain. My advice: once you find something that works, buy a few - be it this pillow or another!
