Review on ๐Ÿงฝ 12"x12" Dual-Sided Jewelry Polishing Cloth for Silver, Gold, and Rouge by Jeweler by Kim Sanchez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

fine polishing cloth; Light Buffing Rouge

I am an active polisher of various collectibles. I remember these fabrics in jewelry stores but I have used a different type with very good results on gold and silver and even stainless steel diamonds which used to be used for high end costume jewelry when they were really shiny. This time I wanted to try a slightly more aggressive treatment on a piece of pewter which I loosened up a bit and tried to bring it back to a silvery sheen. There is nothing wrong with this complex application. I was patient and picked up the next batch of dullness: I needed more jewelry blush for my use than comes with this product. Other reviewers rightly point out that it is best used for the final polishing of gold, silver, etc. per day. I keep it for use on polished, shiny objects, but I have to use a more aggressive product (try the Happich Simichrome paste, also available from Revain) that I've used in my pocket knife collection.
