The quality of the zipper and internal card slots will last for many months. I had several other brands and wasn't surprised by their initial appearance. This item feels and looks way better than others in its size category. The 18 card capacity is enough for most of us, but beware, when it's full of cards it takes a little more effort to close it. This may be because it is still "new" and hasn't been "run in" yet. As it expands from the capacity inside, I feel it can help to close the zipper more easily. I really like this wallet!
